Snuggled in a Bavarian basement restaurant, my son and I enjoyed our family dinner together while listening to an Accordion musician stroll through the restaurant. The wooden lodge type feel of the restaurant is warm and inviting, the food delicious, the ambiance perfect.
This is how we like to spend our Christmas Vacation ~ our family together, nestled in the mountains, warming up with good German food, after a day in the winter weather. Just one of my favorite things ...Oompah!

My mom would love that place! She has played the accordian since she was a little tiny girl, and so did her other two cousins, and they would play together at talent shows. My mom would polka dance with my great grandpa. It's like pulling teeth to get her to play for us now, but as soon as she starts, she wont stop... she loves it too much. "she's too fat for me" was always my favorite. It's catchy and has silly words.
