One of the favorite neighborhood traditions is getting homeowners out on the block to help spruce up the street to kick off Spring and Easter. The Homeowner's Association orders a bunch of bark for the common areas, and individual houses chip in if they want bark in their own yards, and we go to work. Complete with kids this year (Yay! Old enough to help!) and warm drinks with doughnuts, the party started yesterday promptly at 9:00 in the morning and we were done in two hours. The street looks great!

What a wonderful tradition. Great photos, too. Holy double wheelbarrows, Batman!
Can the crew come to my house with bark mulch, shovels, rakes and wheelbarrels?
