My son is the new proud owner of two female Betta fish! Nestled into their tank today with a divider between; the smaller, more light pink colored fish is named
Cricket and has a
No Fishing sign posted on her side. The more pink-red, bigger fish is named
Panda and has a Pagoda on her side. Adorned with wispy greenery and a purple flower plant with the light shining from above, I will admit that they are very peaceful to watch as their graceful fins and tails glide through the water.
At Petco we bumped into my mom's dear friend who was shuffling her three little ones through the isle each with a Betta bowl in hand. Asking her if these fish were really that easy, she said, "They are very easy, unless the kids decide to give them a bubble bath, then you'll be back like us today." Oops!
