Off to school
There she goes ... first day of Middle School ... 6th grade. Dressed and ready with moments to spare for a picture. Chatty all the way to school; she was excited. Seeing her friends in the courtyard before being allowed in the building was Priceless. If it wasn't so-uncool, you bet I would've taken a picture.
My son is growing before my eyes and he's ready to start another year in Elementary school ... 4th grade. A guy who only wanted some new pair of jeans and one pair of shoe (forced by outgrowing), he was completely comfortable sporting clothes from last year on this first day. Confident and ready.
Wishing my two blessings a wonderful school year filled with wisdom and knowledge, lots of laughter among friends, positive connections with teachers, and days to simply relax to be a kid in between.

The kiddos look AWESOME!!! I hope they have an AMAZING first week of school! :) WOWIE Middle School!!! ...they grow up soooooo fast! :)

Thankfully you took the picture at the front door and not at the bus stop as my older middle schooler probably would have "died".
